I work with creatives, churches, and bands to develop songs of worship for the church and personal devotion. Song development can be in-person collaborations or remote projects. Contact me to explore next steps.
Hybrid Workflow
We create a song together through a collaborative process that can be done anywhere from fully remote to in-person. In the blog below, I outline the basic steps to go from a voice memo to a mixed demo and a final recording. Each project is unique and requires a customized strategy that we develop together.
Creating Together
Modern music recording tools allow creatives to make an entire record in a bedroom. My minimal setup is maximized to explore, create, and record guitars, bass, keys, synths, drums, and vocals in one confined space that is also suitable for mixing and mastering.
The process is simple: you bring to the table what you can do as a musician, and I will fill in the gaps. If there’s something I can’t do, we will work together to find the right musician.
Typically, everything needed for a demo recording can be tracked in my home studio. Most tasks for a final recording can be completed here, but I will often go to a studio or remote location to track louder/bigger instruments like drums or acoustic piano.
